New Macan, Panamera Turbo S and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet will debut in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Guangzhou. Porsche, it seems, is hard at work as the company is all set to unveil a total of three new models at motor shows in USA, Japan and China.
The highlight of this cavalcade of trade fair appearances will be the global unveiling of the new Porsche Macan at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which will mark Porsche’s entry into a completely new segment of the market i.e. mid-size premium SUV.
In Tokyo, Porsche will present a new addition to the Panamera range: the Turbo S which is the fastest, most powerful and most luxurious Panamera yet. With a power output of 570 PS and a derestricted top speed of well over 300kmph.
The new 911 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet will also make their first public appearances in Los Angeles.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine delivering 520 PS of power and 560 PS in the more powerful Turbo S, this new open-roofed model will have a top speed of up to 310 kmph. Almost simultaneously, the 918 Spyder will also be premiered to the Chinese and US public in Guangzhou and Los Angeles. Interestingly, the 890PS hybrid supercar will be making its formal public debuts in China and the USA.
